Background: Assessing the risk for patients with prostate cancer has traditionally been determined by conventional imaging methods. However, with the increasing use of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-PET imaging, a more accurate approach to this assessment may be possible. Objective: To evaluate the prognostic performance of a PSMA-PET–based reporting system for risk stratification in patients with prostate cancer. Design: International, retrospective, registry-based cohort study. Methods: The authors used the Prostate Cancer Molecular Imaging Standardized Evaluation (PROMISE) registry to obtain patient data for the prediction of survival up to 7 years after the PSMA-PET imaging. Using patient data obtained between December 6, 2012, and June 26, 2024, they analyzed their updated PPP3 nomograms. Patient survival at 3, 5, and 7 years was used to evaluate the ability to prognosticate survival outcomes. The study involved investigators from 35 different sites in multiple more...
