1 in 7 Medicare Inpatients Harmed by Medical Errors


The Tax Relief and Health Care Act of 2006 mandated that the Office of Inspector General (OIG) from the Department of Health and Human Services report to Congress regarding the incidence of "never events" among Medicare beneficiaries.
