Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is very common and can be evaluated by many different systems. Objective: To describe guidelines for diagnosis and management of HCC. AASLD: High-risk patients undergo ultrasound screening every 6 months, with increased intervals for new subcentimeter nodules. Larger nodules require CT or MRI.
