Titrating Oral Sedatives Difficult but Not Impossible


In dentistry, several methods are available that can be used to titrate oral sedatives. The difficulty that we have is determining whether we have seen the drug's peak clinical effect. We may know that the peak effect should occur at perhaps 1 to 2 hours, but how do we know that we have seen it? The answer is that we really do not know.
