Quality of Life Can Improve in Older Adults With SSDs


Objective: To evaluate the fluctuations, predictors, and the impact of quality of life (QOL) among older adults with schizophrenia spectrum disorders (SSDs). Design: Longitudinal cohort study. Participants/Methods: The cohort consisted of 250 individuals with a diagnosis of SSD, who were aged ≥55 years and who developed the disorder before the age 45 years.
