Background: The Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data system (PI-RADS), unlike BI-RADS in breast imaging, does not strictly define the likelihood of malignancy; instead, for instance, a category 3 lesion is intermediate risk of cancer, 4 is high suspicion, and so on.
