Restorations Placed Under GA Show Fewer Failures Than Those Placed With ITR Tx


Background: General anesthesia (GA) has historically been the gold standard for treatment of early childhood caries in pre-cooperative patients. Interim therapeutic restoration (ITR) is a technique that can be used to defer treatment and avoid GA in this patient population.
